Tungsten has a high melting point, a low vapor pressure and a low evaporation rate. The chemical properties of tungsten are very stable. It does not react with air and water at room temperature. When there is no heating, any concentration of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid and aqua regia have no effect on tungsten. At room temperature, tungsten quickly dissolves in a mixture of hydrofluoric acid and concentrated nitric acid, but does not work in alkali solutions. In the presence of air, the molten base can oxidize tungsten into tungstate. In the presence of oxidizing agents (NaNO3, NaNO2, KClO3, PbO2), the tungstate reaction is more violent. At high temperature, it can combine with chlorine, bromine, iodine, carbon, nitrogen, sulfur, etc., but not with hydrogenation.
Application：Tungsten plate is mainly used in the production of temperature standard light source, tungsten evaporation boat, electron tube grid, heat shield, high temperature furnace components, X-ray tube tungsten target, etc.
